For the vegans, ‘Maroi Bora’ also known as Manipuri pakoras as starters came deep-fried but hardly left an oily tint on the fingers. It was a perfect combination of softness and crispiness. Also, the chilli dip served with the platter complemented it perfectly.

Next up, the ‘Shinju’, a Manipuri salad made with thinly cut cabbage, lotus stem, fermented bamboo shoot, onion, rajamircha and powdered pulse was quite a fresh and cleansing number.

Heading towards the main course, ‘Magan Ooty’, a green pea’s curry cooked in fresh bamboo shoots and natural herbs from Manipur definitely calls for attention!
