Day 7: Disha Patani dazzled the ramp in an exquisite silver shimmery ensemble, stealing the spotlight as the showstopper for Dolly J at FDCI’s Hyundai India Couture Week in association with Reliance Brands at Taj Palace hotel New Delhi.
The mysterious Moon is a timeless symbol of wonder, beauty, and mystery in the vast night sky. Its entrancing presence has molded the current year’s couture assortment from the Ateliers of Cart J, suitably named “Selene”. In order to draw attention to the wearer, delicate, flowing silhouettes have been sculpted, evoking the gentle radiance of the Moon. Magnificent white sequins, metallic tissues, Ivory tulle, and radiant silver sequins reflect its ethereal sparkle.
Tones of burnt copper, washed gunmetal, and deep reds capture the mystery of this celestial body. A light that radiates from heaven and embraces the earth emanates from her immortal head; and the beauty that comes out of her shining light is tremendous.” Our inspiration for this couture presentation is perfectly captured by these profound lines from the Homeric Hymn.
