Chandrani Siingh Fllora’s show is inspired by gemstones .She has unveiled her Autumn Winter 2012 collection Sapphire at WLIFW 2 day’s with show stopper Pooja Mishra.
Inspired by the clarity and array of hues the gemstone sapphire offers, this collection is a representation of the majestic. Materials like heavy satin, georgette, jersey and heavy silk in the hues of blue and red perfectly along with a hint of silver showcases the color continuum and luminousness of the gemstone. A regal chic has been transformed on feminine silhouette with floral geometric embroidery inspired by old architecture. A technique inspired by the Shibori dye technique has been used on the fabric with the use of beads and detailed sequencing which truly epitomizes the brilliance of sapphire.
This collection offers a balanced choice from jackets, dresses to indo-western wear that will accentuate the feminine contours and bring out the royal in a woman. The drapes, embroidery and material used are perfect to metamorphose the dazzle of sapphire into a ready-to-wear chic wardrobe.
