UPITS 2025 to Spotlight Global Buyers, Cultural Heritage, and Youth Innovation

Greater Noida, September 6 — The third edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2025) is set to take place from September 25 to 29 at the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida.

In a press conference held earlier this week, District Magistrate Medha Roopam announced that this year’s event will place special emphasis on attracting overseas buyers, strengthening industry-academia partnerships, and showcasing the state’s rich craft, culture, and cuisine.

Organised jointly by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML), UPITS 2025 is expected to draw participation from global investors, entrepreneurs, MSMEs, and exporters. The event will highlight the state’s industrial growth, ODOP (One District One Product) offerings, and investment potential across sectors.

Addressing the media, Roopam stated that preparations are underway to enhance infrastructure, security, and visitor amenities. A dedicated control room will be operational during the event to monitor proceedings and resolve issues in real time. She also announced the launch of the UPITS 2025 Mobile App, designed to provide navigation support, live updates, and essential information to attendees.

“This edition will be more engaging, with interactive programmes such as Battle of Bands, AI and Robotics contests, and Business Idea competitions,” Medha Roopam said, urging media houses, influencers, and publishers to actively promote the event and contribute to the state’s vision of a trillion-dollar economy.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of IEML, described UPITS as a “one-of-a-kind platform” that integrates trade, tradition, and technology. “No other state offers such a comprehensive showcase. UPITS has become a global bridge for commerce and culture,” he said.

Sudeep Sarcar, CEO of IEML, presented an overview of the event’s logistics, assuring a seamless experience for exhibitors and visitors through world-class infrastructure and coordinated management.

ADM (E) Manglesh Dubey reaffirmed the district administration’s commitment to ensuring smooth traffic flow, law and order, and visitor facilitation. “Greater Noida is fully prepared to host this global event,” he said.

With participation expected from across continents, UPITS 2025 aims to position Uttar Pradesh as a dynamic hub of innovation, heritage, and global trade.
