“DOLLY J” is the label of Delhi based designer Ms Dolly Jhunjhunwala. A person with multi faceted talents, it was little over four years ago that Dolly, a fine arts graduate and an ardent painter and architect by profession, decided to foray in the world of fashion. And thus was born “Dolly J”,   her label and fashion studio.

Besides retailing from her spacious studio at Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi, the label  “Dolly J” is available at some of the most premium stores across the country like Ogaan (Delhi and Mumbai), Samsaara (Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore), Kimaya (Mumbai and Delhi), Elahe (Hyderabad), Aza (Delhi and Mumbai), Zoya (Mumbai) and RCKC (London).

Dolly is known as a textile person and her effort has always been to explore the different weaves and texturing on fabric from different parts of our country. She then combines these with prints and traditional embroidery techniques to create her ensembles. A lot of importance is given to the fusing of techniques and embroidery, using different material of varied textures.
