Designer Ankita Chaudhry showcased at The Bride Show Dubai

Delhi based designer Ankita Chaudhry, label SAAJ is synonymous with creative & colourful Indian wear, has showcased her collection “Wedding Couture” at the largest bridal & fashion exhibition in the Middle East,The Bride Show, Dubai. It has held from 4th – 7th April at Dubai International Exhibition Center, Ankita Chaudhry is the only Indian designer who will be showcasing her collection on the ramp at this prestigious fashion event.
Ankita has created a special line for the show, keeping in mind the Middle East sensibility. The collection is surreal, very feminine and paints an artistic canvas in the wardrobe of a quaint soulful girl.
The colour palette is inspired from Middle Eastern Culture; rich green and electric blue dominate the colour palette and lustre is added through the use of Swarovski elements, nakxi & dabka work. Sheer meshy, sparkling nets and glossy fabrics are used to accentuate colour and add the “glam-factor” to the designs. Her opulence is complimented with the use of rich velvets, khim-khwab brocade and satin. Innovative use of lycra mix is used to accentuate feminity in corsets and pants.
