Vineet’s AW 12 collection celebrates the world traveller. Vintage Romanian shawls & antique Sardinian embroideries lend themselves to no-fuss silhouettes of the 60’s.
Vineet bahl has said to fg’’ that his Theme of the show is Caravan can inspired from different culture. Whether its embroidery from certain culture, fabric from certain culture.
He also said that USP of my collection is I think colour, print, embroidery and making its look broader
Perhaps a black canvas was the starting point: Vineet began designing on all black form quite analogous to how an artist would paint on a bare canvas. The effect was profound when he brought together his signature prints and embroidery techniques on such a canvas.
Silhouettes are comprehensible with streamlined tunics, dresses, a lined skirts and wide-leg pants. Neon accents in Kantha form a significant part of the collection while elsewhere; intricate stone work done on brocade brings about bijou-like semblance.
Price starts from Rs 2500.
