Padmashree Shovana Narayan and Sunil Mehra celebrated Holi with Krishna’s Blue Magic

To celebrate the Krishna’s Blue magic and Holi Padmashree Shovana Narayan and Sunil Mehra first time come together on 20th March, 2013 at Sunil Mehra store G.K-1, M block market. Padmashree Shovana Narayan dance performance and display of Holi paintings by Sunil Mehra add a true colour in the evening to celebrate the Holi. Sunil Mehra had created a beautiful ambience for this Holi celebration. Katha, prima donna guru Padmashree Shovana Narayan was the guest of honor for this special evening who unveiled the Holi exhibition in the studio. The event was accompanied by a fashion show which displayed the Spring Summer 2013 collection by Sunil Mehra.
Designer Sunil Mehra Spring Summer 2013 collection based on the theme Krishna’s Blue Avatar . Krishna’s blue avatar the effulgent blue of which is falling on all- making the skies blue, reflecting in the waters; enveloping us with his blueness indicating the vastness of the universe.
When I asked to Designer why Krishna’s blue Avatar he said, “all grace of Krishna I should believe it he is the actual creator I am just mode of it. He inspires me and I am tried to do this collection that is totally devoted to Lord Krishna. It is also dedicated to Holi, first time Holi shown in blue colour. The whole holy collection is in blue colour only and my paintings also. All colour are merge in Krishna colour only that is blue. When all colour merge in Krishna color we shown the ultimate through our collection and paintings and this is the purpose of life.
“Basic reason was Krishna always show in multicolour that is very materialistic but actual spiritual all about it to merge in Krishna, which is blue. To find that peace and anand which everyone is looking for” added Sunil.
When I asked about Shovana Narayan Performance he said, “I really thankful to Shovana first time she has performed in any store. When she has visited my store the moment she saw the ambience and collection she said I want to do it for Lord Krishna and for a Krishna Bhakt
Designer has used fabrics like Lush linens, sumptuous silks, lavish summer cashmere, supreme tropical wools and their blends spring together for a luxurious affair. Collection comprises of Splendid signature tuxedos, suits, jacket combinations, jawahar jackets, jodhpuribandhgalas, jawahar jackets, kurtapyjamas and angrakhasherwanis emanate the different emotions of blue. Adding to the finesse are impeccable accessories; bags, stoles, scarves, ties, bow-ties, precious cuff-links and buttons for symbolic expressions.
All the guests were seen in colorful Indian attire to create a festive mood. Guest were seen including artist Nupur Kundu, Neelam Pratap Rudy, Sunayana Malhotra, Gareema Nagpal, Saggar Mehra, Kanika Mehra, Aashmeen Munjal, Preeti Ghai, artist Leena Bidani, Nidhi Khuarana, Sunayana Chibba and many more.
