Structured Yet Fluid
The designer was inspired by ‘Valley of Flowers’ where each garment was a play of craft, elegance, art and colours. Bead work, buttons, laces, tapes, silk threads and varied yarns were embellished in muted colour scheme of ivory with hints of vibrant yellow, orange, turquoise, lime, mauve, raspberry, coral, lilac and pink.

The show commenced with a series of knee length ivory dresses with cap sleeves embellished with bead and buttons in the form of diagonal stripes, swirls, circles, which later transformed into floral motifs. A pleated dress in ivory had intricate button details at the hem while a shift dress with pink thread-work looked astonishingly elegant and chic. The show concluded with unique weaves engraved out of impeccable craftsmanship.

The surface treatment creates a visual movement while the structured silhouettes make the collection planned yet fluid. The garments are wearable and evoke a spiritual mode in pristine whites with intricate and unusual surface ornamentation with clean lines and silhouettes.
