French Bistro Rara Avis Has unveiled

Mr. Francois Richier, Ambassador of France, Laurent Guiraud & Jerome Cousin
French Culinary Maestros Jerome Cousin and Laurent Guiraud In partnership with Mr. Rajiv Aneja launched first of its kind French Bistro Rara Avis at M -27, Greater Kailash 2 (Main Market), New Delhi on 19th April 2012.
A bistro, sometimes spelled ‘bistrot’, is, in its original Parisian incarnation, a small restaurant serving moderately priced simple meals in a modest setting. Bistros are defined mostly by the foods they serve. Home cooking with robust earthy dishes and slow-cooked foods like cassoulet are typical.
The inviting 48 seater Bistro is located in the buzzing food centric stronghold of the main Greater Kailash-2 market in South Delhi, housed in a cozy nook, atop a building spread across two floors. Rara Avis offers diners two distinct dining spaces – one an interior setting and the other a quaint terrace complete with an ample supply of city breeze to whet your appetites while tapping your feet to the music of French sand European singers. For critics and connoisseurs alike, the venue offers a casual ambience with what Jerome and Laurent like to called as “Food just like our grandmothers used to cook”!
On this occasion Raja Shri Aditya Dev Chand Katoc, Mr. Francois Richier, (Ambassador of France), Aman Nath with Francis Wacziarg, Ambika Pillai, Mr. Jaime Nualart, (Ambassador of Mexico), Ramola Bachchan, Alexandr, Rajiv Aneja, Ramola, Karan Aneja with Svetlana Dhir.were among the guests spotted at the event.
