Best Foods associated with Indian Culinary Forum for Chef Awards 2014

Best Foods has announced its association with the Indian Culinary Forum for Chef Awards 2014 by being official sponsors for the event. In an effort to celebrate and recognize the talent in the kitchen, Indian Culinary Forum in association with Indian Federation of Culinary Associations and World Association of Chef Societies will be hosting the 11th Annual Chef Awards 2014. The event will be held on 15th November 2014 at Hotel Ashok. Best Foods is one of the leading premium Basmati Rice company in India.

Best Foods has also received the quality accreditation from Indian Culinary Forum (ICF), an association of professional chefs affiliated to Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA). Best Foods is the second company after Electrolux Kitchen Equipments to receive the accreditation from ICF.

Chef Davinder Kumar, President Indian Culinary Forum, says “We are extremely happy to have partnered with Best Foods for the Annual Chef Awards as the platinum partner. ICF has decided to endorse the Best rice after evaluating the quality. “We will use their products and give them feedback to help them improve as well as bring in new products.”

The chef awards competition is categorized majorly in three formats- ‘Trade Test’, ‘Chef Summit’, & the grand finale called the ‘Chef Awards 2014’.While the culinary competitions (Trade Test) among the nominated chefs for various award categories will be held at DIHM (Delhi Institute of Hotel Management) from 08th to 12th November, where chefs will battle it out to prove their culinary talent and Chef Summit & Chef Awards will be held at Hotel Ashok on 15th November 2014.

Indian Culinary Forum (ICF), supported by Indian Federation of Culinary Association (IFCA) has joined hands to host Chef Awards, 2014 on 15th November 2014 in New Delhi. This will be consequent 11th year where Chefs will be honored and recognized for their outstanding contribution. This day has been marked as a special occasion to recognize a chef as an artist and also to create an awareness of the profession of chefs who have set remarkable industry standards in the art of cooking.


The Indian Culinary Forum is the India’s association of Professional chefs of Northern India. It was formed in New Delhi in 1987 as an exclusive non-profit-making organization, Dedicated solely to the advancement of the culinary art of India. The Forum’s objective is to act as a link, platform, useful and necessary instrument for the national community of chefs. The World Association of Cooks Societies (WACS) is a 93-nation fellowship comprising the world’s various professional chefs’ organization. The ICF, has an international culinary focus and staging of its various competitions, seminars and events.
