Day 3-Joyjit Talukdar at WIFW S/S 12

[tab:Feed]Organised Chaos Joyjit Talukdar for Spring Summer 2012 brings forth the human emotions alive. The collection reflects the human mind that deals with thousands of sentiments, which cannot be structured.  The thought waves have their own directions, their own shapes. The palette was ultra basic with off whites and dusty pastels.  There were subtle blues and mustards, which gave a new definition to the surfaces. The tone-in-tone textures resembled the palm lines giving a symmetrical look and feel. The textures were engineered and very intricately done. However, the multi dimensional silhouettes complemented the excessive textures and vice versa. The fabrics varied from organics to experimental with a wide variation on the weave patterns. The fabric was molded, beaten and treated in numerous fascinating ways to form interesting accessories. The front yokes were emphasised with multiple layering. Waistlines were made to look very special. Another interesting feature was the weathering effect given to fabrics.
