Athiya Shetty, Sooraj Pancholi debut on ramp for Falguni & Shane Peacock

Bollywood newcomers Athiya Shetty and Sooraj Pancholi have walked as a showstoppers for designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock on BMW India Bridal Fashion Week. Designer duo presented their French-inspired bridal wear line on second day of BMW India Bridal Fashion Week 2015 (IBFW) at Ambience Mall New Delhi.
Both the actors, who will be making their dream Bollywood debut with superstar Salman Khan’s production “Hero”, highlighted the theme of French romance and luxury on the ramp.

Walking hand-in-hand, Athiya and Sooraj rocked all black ensembles, as they confidently took a bow in front of the audience.

“I feel so blessed to have got this opportunity to walk the ramp for them. The energy was so great on the ramp. So much positivity. I just love the whole collection. I think we did the best we could do,” Athiya, said to reporters after the show.
While, Sooraj Pancholi, seemed a little nervous on the ramp.
“Yes I was nervous. It was the hardest three minutes of my life. But once I saw Athiya I felt relaxed.”

Falguni and Shane’s collection Titled “That Is It”, inspired from their recent holiday in France and it featured vintage and floral influences, reminiscent of the evergreen French splendour.

“The collection is inspired from the French Riviera. It is more floral and has got a vintage feel to it. We got the idea after our recent holiday in France. We had a show at Cannes and then we went to Paris. It was beautiful and I keep telling Shane,” Falguni said.

The collection featured around 40 outfits in opulent fabrics like chattily lace, imported organza, tulle and pure satin. The detailed yet delicate work has been balanced by the elegant colour palette. The collection ranges from delicate shades of gold, frosted almond, champagne, salmon pink and placid blue to bold colours like black and red.

“It is very feminine and has been infused with fresh colours mixed with a lot of silver and gold. So, it is a beautiful blend of pastels,” Falguni said.

The bridal line features a wide variety of silhouettes like voluminous and slim fit floor scraping gowns, dresses, bridal wear, sarees, lehengas, and sari-gowns. Premium quality embellishments like rhinestones, bugle beads, crystals, glass sequins and feathers have been used. ,br>
