Amrapali’s : Miniature HANUMAN
Amrapali latest innovation in the field of jewellery made a miniature idol of lord HANUMAN, unveiled the most exquisite and exclusive miniature HANUMAN on 4th May, 2012 at Khan Market store. Amrapali decoded the trend for the season with some really fantastic jewel pieces. However, the show stealer was the limited edition miniature Hanuman which stole the limelight for the evening.
These are some of the early reviews of American Master Craftsman Lawrence Leyda’s latest creation for the Divine Heritage Collection.
The first in a planned 8 magnificent bejewelled miniature figurines of India’s Divine Personalities and taking over 3,000 hours to create, Hanuman is a marvel of craftsmanship, extraordinary engineering and devotion. By pressing his foot out of respect, an intricate apparatus allows Hanuman to open his arms to reveal the illuminated miniature sculpture of Sita and Rama in his heart
Amrapali continuing its tradition of celebrating royalty, the event witnessed attendance of the society’s elite like Alka Rani Singh , Madhu Jain, Neelam Rudy Pratap Singh , Sangeet Gandhi, , Nidhi Jain , Garima Nagpal , Vikram Baidyanath , Amrit Mathur etc .
Rajesh Ajmera and Rajiv Arora, the duo established Amrapali in 1978, with the aim of showcasing Indian jewellery to the world. They used elements of ethnic Indian jewellery in their designs and revived the traditional methods of jewellery making, in order to create a design language distinct to Amrapali. By absorbing and combining the many rich traditions of India, the designs at Amrapali are as authentic as they are unique. It’s the jewellery for today and tomorrow inspired by yesterdays and so can be called classic in the true sense.
For jewellery aficionados across the world, Amrapali is not only an ornament brand but a cult. A cult that has revolutionized the way beauties adorn the glamour. Ethnic yet contemporary, modern yet classy, well-crafted yet light… jewellery from the house of Amrapali has made Jaipur the centre stage of fashionistas. It has been the most favoured brand of the rich and famous world over since its inception. Over the years of excellence and exquisiteness, Amrapali has created a fan club of international celebrities like Paris Hilton, Queen Latifah, Queen of Bhutan Ashi Wangchuck and Israel President Shimon Peres.
