The Designer interprets the dark, mystical, enigmatic essence of these creatures into wearable forms of art and commercial clothing influenced by their Gypsy way of life, with a delicious use of rich fabrics such as silk velvets, silk satin, raw silks, habutai silk, georgettes and tulle apart from silk lycra and crepes with silhouettes ranging from resort Kaftans, Jump Suits, Jungle Dresses to tunics, skirts, lycra pants and shirts…
The prints are bold yet understated with a Bohemian influence of vibrant paisleys, paint splatters, contoured and color blocked vines with Chantilly motifs, further entwined in zebra and tiger skins. Additions to them are the cashmere mufflers, stoles and shawls with bohemian prints and delicate embellishments.
Embellishments by Swarovski Elements, chains and leather tassels with pearls and filigree add to the glamour and value addition to the collection. The village of Bohemia, which is east of Amityville, was founded by Slavic peasants from Eastern Europe in the 19th century. The part of Eastern Europe they were from was the province of Bohemia. These peasant immigrants brought with them legends and tales of vampires, which was added to the local Suffolk Country folklore.
